Award Winning Flamenco Guitarist Eric Harper creates not only a unique sound all his own but his music is melodically entrancing, virtuosically ferocious and harmonically soul-stirring to the core.
Eric Harper began his education in classical music at the Conservatory of Braga in Braga, Portugal. After completing his education in Europe he returned to the states and attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music; graduating with a Bachelor of Music in film scoring “Magna Cum Laude” in just over two years.
After graduation he moved to Los Angeles where he lived for 8 years to hone his skills both as a songwriter/composer but as well as a performer.
Eric is the winner of the Yamaha Young Performing Artists Award of 2000, as well as the Guitar Mania Contest of 2014, a finalist in both the Morton Gould Composer Award of 2000 and the Lennon Songwriting Competition of 2002.
Eric has performed all over the world in many countries including Spain, Mexico, Portugal, Switzerland, France, China, Israel, USA and Canada. He has performed with Multi-Grammy award winner KC Porter, Chinese Pop Sensation Cheng Lin, Santana Producer JB Eckl, Pop Sensation Andy Grammar and many others. Dazzling audiences of thousands Eric continues to hone his performance and song-writing skills in beautiful British Columbia.
